The Student Life team provides a range of programs and services to enable you to learn and grow intellectually, socially and professionally during your time at ANU. Our programs cater to various student life-cycles. We undertake activities and provide resources that support orientation and transition, extra-curricular enrichment, leadership and community building for all students. Our programs and services include:

 

Volunteering and Skill Development with ANU+

ANU+ is a program that formally recognises your experience and contribution achieved through volunteering. This program is open to all ANU undergraduate and postgraduate students at any time in your degree.

Mentoring Program with SET4ANU 

SET4ANU is a free mentoring program designed to assist new students make the transition to life at ANU. Students who sign up for the program are assigned a later-year student volunteer who will help ease new students into their first few weeks of life at ANU

First-Year Experience 

First-Year Experience is a strengths-based community for new domestic, undergraduate students who want to share their rich knowledge and skills. These students come from rural and remote, low-income/low-SES, and refugee backgrounds, or are the first in their family to attend university.

Community Connect

Community Connect provides a safe and welcoming space for students to connect with peers, support and community activities. We offer no-cost essential items through our Community Connect Food Relief service and opportunities for students to engage with the community through events and drop-ins.

Faces of ANU 

Faces of ANU showcases glimpses of daily life at ANU as well as exciting academic achievements of students and staff alike. Students with a strong interest in writing and communications can apply to volunteer for Faces of ANU. Guidance and support will be provided. 

Student Research Conference

The ANU Student Research Conference (SRC) is the Australian National University's annual undergraduate, honours and Masters by coursework research conference.
